Harrowbarrow & Metherell Community Association & WI Monthly guided walks in the Tamar Valley from Harrowbarrow & Metherell Village Hall, School Road, Harrowbarrow, Callington PL17 8BQ every 2nd Wednesday of the month. Meet in the Village Hall Car Park at 2.00 p.m. Well behaved dogs on leads welcome. Walks usually about 2 to 3 hours long and start and finish in the car park. All welcome. Walk Leaflets for past walks available from Harrowbarrow Post Office at a cost of 20p.

A Victorian drama, based on Peter Carey’s novel, and set partly in North Cornwall. Oscar is a young priest, Lucinda an Australian heiress. She buys a glass factory and dreams of building a church made of glass, and transporting it to the Australian outback. They meet on a ship bound for Australia.
