Did you know that the amount of water we use has been steadily increasing since the 70's when the average water consumption was 110 litres (24 gallons) per person per day. Today that figure has risen to around 157 litres (34 gallons) per person per day.

With forecasters predicting more extremes of weather, an increasing local population and the west country an ever more popular tourist destination, South West Water is keen to encourage all of its customers to practice water efficiency. Our WaterWise message is simple; "It Pays to be WaterWise!"

WaterWise talks. We work with local councils, schools and tourism associations to promote water conservation, giving talks and organising seminars and workshops. We offer free advice to both our domestic and our business customers.

WaterWise products. We have also negotiated a range of gardening products at subsidised prices direct from our suppliers designed to reduce the use of high quality drinking water around the garden. They will deliver direct to your home and include a free composter with every water butt kit ordered!
